2019 49ers 53-player roster breakdown at Saturday cut-down deadline

The San Francisco 49ers have their 53-player roster after two days' worth of moves, which started on Friday morning.

Below is a breakdown, position-by-position, of the players who remain. Of course, this could change based on any transactions that take place after 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Starting at 9 a.m. PT on Sunday, NFL teams can claim any of the over 1,100 new free agents who were waived by their respective teams. The 49ers are No. 2 when it comes to waiver-wire priority. Only the Arizona Cardinals sit ahead of them.

The 49ers will also begin putting together a 10-man practice squad at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Logan Ryan appeared in five regular season games for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023, with two of those appearances in a starting role. Ryan also played in all three of the 49ers' postseason games, including the Super Bowl last February. The San Francisco 49ers recently finalized deals with three players from their 2024 draft class, officially announcing the signings today.
