Frank Gore ‘could not be happier’ for Super Bowl-bound Joe Staley, 49ers

San Francisco 49ers tackle Joe Staley once called former teammate Frank Gore his
"favorite player in the history of the world." In two weeks, Staley will head to his second Super Bowl, and the 13-year veteran hopes this one turns out better than the last — with a victory.
Gore, who played this past season with the Buffalo Bills, hopes so too. He remains fond of the organization that made him a third-round draft pick out of the University of Miami in 2005, and on Monday responded to a tweet by Staley.
I guess we know which team Gore will be pulling for on Super Bowl Sunday.
Staley and Gore were teammates for eight seasons in San Francisco. This past season, his 15th in the NFL, Gore
climbed to No. 3 on the all-time career rushing yards list, surpassing Barry Sanders and behind only Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton.

Anthony "Spice" Adams to announce 49ers' draft picks in 2nd and 3rd rounds
NFL Communications has officially announced the "NFL legends and active players" who will announce selections during Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Representing the San Francisco 49ers will be former defensive tackle Anthony "Spice" Adams, who spent four seasons with the team and nine in the NFL.
San Francisco selected Adams out of Penn State in the second round (No. 57 overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.
