The NFL has announced official training camp report dates for all 32 teams, and the San Francisco 49ers will begin preparations for the 2026 season when rookies report on Saturday, July 18.
Veterans will join the newcomers one week later, reporting to training camp on Saturday, July 25.
The first practice will be on Sunday, July 26.
The NFL also confirmed two joint practices for the 49ers during training camp. The first will take place in Santa Clara against the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday, August 11, ahead of the teams' preseason matchup.
The second joint practice will be held on Tuesday, August 18, when the 49ers travel to El Segundo to work against the Los Angeles Chargers before their preseason meeting.
Joint practices have become a valuable part of NFL training camps, providing teams with competitive reps against unfamiliar opponents while helping players and coaches to better evaluate talent ahead of the regular season.
