The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Super Bowl LIV contest against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, February 2 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. While San Francisco's players did not practice on Wednesday, Kansas City's players did.
Instead, 49ers players spent the day getting a first glimpse of the team's game plan headed into Super Bowl LIV. There was no media access, however.
Running back Tevin Coleman suffered a dislocated shoulder during the NFC Championship Game victory over the Green Bay Packers. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters on Monday that the injury
doesn't rule out Coleman for Super Bowl LIV.
"I expect him to have a chance to play," Shanahan said.
The 49ers Communications staff released the following practice participation report for both teams. Of course, since San Francisco did not practice, its portion is an estimation of what participation would have been for a full practice.

49ers' Fred Warner addresses Armstead's departure, Greenlaw's recovery, Super Bowl window
The news of Arik Armstead's departure from the San Francisco 49ers after nine seasons with the team shocked linebacker Fred Warner. Armstead, a former first-round pick, was an impactful force on the football field. However, his availability over the last two seasons forced the 49ers to reevaluate his contract, and when his salary could not be significantly reduced, the two sides parted ways.
"Huge surprise," Warner said of learning that Armstead was being released. "Ever since I've been here, we called him the blueprint for how to be a Niner. That was the longest-tenured Niner that's been here and a guy that's done it right through and through."
Warner has been in the NFL long enough to understand how the league works. Over the years, he's watched several
Report: Several teams inquiring about 49ers' Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk
Brandon Aiyuk isn't the only San Francisco 49ers player being mentioned in trade chatter around the NFL. According to Michael Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, several teams are also reaching out to inquire about the availability of wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
"In the course of trade conversations about Brandon Aiyuk, numerous teams are inquiring about fellow 49ers WR Deebo Samuel's availability," Silver reports. "The 49ers would likely have to be blown away by the offer to make that move. Fluid situation, though."

Brandon Aiyuk's agent denies report of Steelers 'aggressively pursuing' the 49ers receiver
On Wednesday, Chat Sports contributor Chase Senior reported that the Pittsburgh Steelers were "aggressively pursuing" San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk. He further stated that the Steelers are confident they can finalize a deal for the star player.
REPORTS: The Pittsburgh Steelers are aggressively pursuing a Brandon Aiyuk trade and the Steelers would be "surprised" if they don't land Aiyuk. Of note: Pittsburgh has the 20th overall pick. The Niners could look at that as equal value for Aiyuk if they can't get a deal done.…
Bleacher Report proposes absurd 49ers-Jets trade involving Brandon Aiyuk
Speculation surrounding Brandon Aiyuk will likely continue until the end of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, which kicks off tonight. All eyes are on what the San Francisco 49ers will do at No. 31 overall and what moves they might make before then.
While general manager John Lynch assured the media this week that retaining Aiyuk is the priority, the receiver eagerly awaits the 49ers to back up their words with action, making him one of the NFL's highest-paid receivers.
One Bleacher Report writer, Ryan Fowler, proposes a trade likely to draw criticism from 49ers fans. In his analysis of one draft-day trade "that makes sense"
